Il Genoa è ormai candidato a diventare la settima squadra della Serie A, con proprietà di matrice USA. "Tra Genoa e Fiorentina è già derby americano" - riassume l'edizione odierna de Il Secolo XIX. Sabato, prosegue il quotidiano ligure, andrà in scena a Marassi un "derby a stelle e strisce". Per valutare il club il patron Enrico Preziosi avrebbe paragonato l'operazione al passaggio della Fiorentina a Rocco Commisso: 150 milioni. La chiusura per il passaggio di proprietà avverrà tra il 22 settembre e il 15 ottobre.
