Protagonista a suo malgrado dell'1 a 1 finale è stato il gigliato Nikola Milenkovic, autore di un autogol. Anche Vlahovic titolare senza brillare particolarmente in zona gol e sostituito al 70' da Jovic. Indisponibile per il match invece Nastasic dopo una botta rimediata contro il Lussemburgo, ma le sue condizioni non preoccupano in vista dell'Atalanta.
