Alcune clamorose voci sembravano averlo avvicinato alla Fiorentina ma il futuro di Jorginho sembra sia ancora firmato Chelsea. Joao Santos, suo procuratore, ha parlato a RadioPunto Nuovo:

"Al Chelsea sta molto bene, gli mancano ancora due anni di contratto con i blues e speriamo che possa rimanere a giocare a Londra."
